A little about us

Good work.Worthsharing.

You shouldn’t need a second job to talk about your first. We built Kodanote to help busy people get their expertise out into the world.

Here’s our story

A familiar problem

Plenty to say.
No time to post.

Sound familiar?

Vygandas kept trying to make time for social media. There was plenty to talk about, but running a business and doing the work came first.

Hiring an agency didn’t solve it. The technical substance of his ideas often got lost along the way. The result might read well, but it wasn’t something he felt comfortable putting his name to.

Kiril was hearing similar frustrations. We started experimenting, spoke with potential users, and found that this wasn’t just our problem.

When your reputation rests on your expertise, getting the details right matters.

The rule we won’t bend

It starts with
something real.

Something you did. Something you have a point of view on. Every post needs a basis in your work or your input. We’re not here to fill a feed with things that have nothing to do with you.

Your starting point

  • A voice note
  • Something you shipped
  • A photo from your day
  • A thought worth keeping
Shaped by Kodanote

Still your expertise

Your idea, ready to share.

Shaped for your audience, with a visual to match. Review it, ask for changes, and approve it for the publishing queue.

You get the last word

The people behind it

Good colleagues.
Now co-founders.

We met at Rivile, building its cloud ERP product. Vygandas led engineering; Kiril was a software architect on his team. We found a common language in how we approached building software.

  1. Working together at Rivile
  2. Different jobs. Still in touch.
  3. Building Kodanote

Our careers took us elsewhere, but the conversations continued. Eventually, we decided to build something useful together. A problem we both understood was a good place to start.

Co-founder & CEO

Vygandas Pliasas

Vygandas has led engineering teams and worked as a startup CTO. He knew the frustration of having something useful to say, but no time to turn it into a post he wanted his name on.

Co-founder & CTO

Kiril Nugmanov

Kiril’s background spans software architecture and banking. He kept hearing the same thing from people around him: they wanted to be visible, but creating content felt like too much to take on.

Your next post starts with you.

Give new customers a way to discover you, and past ones a reason to get back in touch. Let people get to know how you think.
